[1] Y Llywydd (Elin Jones): Bore da, bawb, a chroeso i gyfarfod cyntaf Pwyllgor Busnes y pumed Cynulliad. Byddaf yn dechrau’r cyfarfod gyda’r trefniadau arferol. Mae’r Cynulliad Cenedlaethol yn gweithredu drwy gyfrwng y Gymraeg a’r Saesneg, ac mae clustffonau ar gael i dderbyn gwasanaeth cyfieithu ar y pryd. Mae modd eu defnyddio hefyd i godi lefel y sain. Mae cyfieithu ar y pryd ar gael ar sianel 1 ac mae fersiwn sain uwch ar gael ar sianel 2.

The Presiding Officer (Elin Jones): Good morning, everyone, and welcome to this first Business Committee meeting of the fifth Assembly. I will open the meeting with the usual arrangements. The National Assembly for Wales operates through the media of both Welsh and English, and headphones are provided through which simultaneous translation may be received. They can also be used to amplify sound. Interpretation is available on channel 1 and amplification of sound is available on channel 2.

The first item on the agenda is apologies and announcements. We haven’t received any apologies. I’m not aware of any apologies, and so we’ll continue on to item 2 on the agenda.

[3] Y Llywydd: Fel sydd wedi’i nodi ar yr agenda, hoffwn wahodd y rheolwyr busnes i gytuno i gwrdd yn breifat am weddill y cyfarfod ac mewn unrhyw gyfarfodydd dilynol, fel y gwêl y pwyllgor yn dda, yn unol â Rheol Sefydlog 17.42, er mwyn trafod busnes mewnol y pwyllgor a’r Cynulliad. Os nad oes gwrthwynebiad, felly—. A oes yna unrhyw wrthwynebiad? Os nad oes yna, diolch i chi ac fe fyddwn ni’n symud, felly, i sesiwn breifat o’r Pwyllgor Busnes.

The Presiding Officer: As noted on the agenda, I would like to invite the business managers to agree to resolve to meet in private for the remainder of the meeting and any subsequent meetings, as the committee deems necessary, in accordance fel gwwith Standing Order 17.42, to discuss the internal business of the committee and of the Assembly. If there’s no opposition to that—. Are Members agreed? I see that you are, thank you very much. We’ll therefore move into a private session of the Business Committee.
